Earlier tonight, as my husband was putting our boys to bed, I overheard him reading them a story. Hearing him reading to them, his voice full of expression, and hearing them laughing and asking questions…it was one of those “can’t get any better than this” moments.
It’s funny, really, because as I’ve been making an effort to be grateful for the things around me, I’m finding that there are more things to be grateful FOR. My new “attitude of gratitude”, as my friend Roxanne calls it, is in itself making significant changes in the way I feel and think, which is making my life feel a lot better.
Every day I feel better, and every day I’m more grateful for the little things. And every day, those “can’t get any better” moments seem to get closer together…
So, I have a challenge for you. Make an effort to notice those moments in your own life, and remember to be grateful. Do this every day, and often…and watch the amazing changes in yourself and your life. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Learn it, live it, love it!!
