#DIY: Make Garden Labels Using Rocks
I can never keep those little plastic things that come with the plants I buy that tells us what kind and how to care for them. This year I decided to create labels for the plants in my garden that were more permanent and would last. Looking around Pinterest I found the perfect pin.
You Tube video explaining how to create your own garden labels using rocks.
Outdoor Acrylic Paint
UV Resistant Clear Coat (optional)
1. Wash and dry your rocks
2. Choose your paint colors and start writing names of your plants on each rock.
3. Make sure each rock is long or fat enough for whatever you want to write.
4. (Optional) After your rocks dry you can spray them with a protective sealant to keep them lasting for years.
Get creative and do lots of stuff with this pin. Draw pieces of corn, tomatoes, and pumpkins instead of writing out the words. Draw pictures of the type of fruit or vegetable then next to it write the type (example; have a photo of a tomato and next to it write Roma or Big Boy). The ideas are endless. What did you do to create your own garden markers? I’d love to hear about your ideas!
