So today, I’ve got many things for which to be grateful, and I thought I’d share a couple with you, partially to inspire you to think about the wonderful things in your own life, and partially to remind myself of the same!
Let me start with my amazing oldest son. As most of you are aware, Cameron is a fellow blogger! He’s in my blog roll, or you can check him out . Cameron is a truly cool kid who makes me proud every day. On Friday, I went to his parent/teacher conference and learned that he was once again on the honor roll. This in itself is something to be grateful for! Then, I learned that he would be tested for the gifted program at his school. This morning, I got a call from the advisor of this program, letting me know that Cameron has passed the first test and will be IQ tested tomorrow. Assuming he gets at least a 125, he’s in! I have faith that he can do it! (Plus, I gave him some online IQ tests over the weekend and he averages about 140! LOL!) So YAY for Cameron!! I’m so grateful that he’s being given such a cool educational opportunity!
Next, I would like to express my gratitude for my blogging friends! I’ve been given several awards today, which makes me feel so wonderful. I’m grateful for all of you, and I’m blogging about these on my other blog, Hot Off the Press. I will also be passing along three of these awards to fellow bloggers probably tomorrow. Stay tuned! Please be sure to check it out.
I could go on and on about my own gratitudes, but I’d like to present a little challenge to you all today. Take a few moments to intentionally notice three wonderful things in your life today. Maybe they’re big, maybe they’re small. It doesn’t matter. Find three things for which to be grateful, and be sure to express that gratitude to the universe, even if you just say it in your own head. You will be amazed at the positive changes you’ll experience in your life when you are intentionally grateful for what you have, and even for what you want!
Have a fabulous, grateful day!
Learn it, live it, love it!
