I have a question about someone in my life.

Where can I find your videos?

I want to tell you my story!

Looking for small group coaching?

We’ve got you covered! Small group coaching is available to anyone who speaks English and can access the internet. All sessions are held online and you can speak to your coach face-to-face if you like. We do our best to ensure that we have times around the clock on varied days so that we can serve everyone. If you can’t make one of these times, please reach out to program coordinator Lise at [email protected] to request additional times, or see our one-on-one coaching options.  You may also email Lise with brief questions about the group sessions, but please note that she is not able to give personal advice via email. We also offer free and lower-cost group support.

Were you removed from a support group?

Our admin team carefully moderates our groups to ensure that they are safe for our members. This includes blacklisting anyone who breaks the rules or appears to be in the group for the wrong reason. Check out the rules here: https://queenbeeing.com/span-rules.

If you feel you were removed in error, you can email our business manager, Melina, at [email protected]

Want to Ask Angie a Question?

People often ask me “How can I talk to you about my problem?” This page will help you find the right way to connect with me! Please note: I wish I could personally talk with every single person who needs me, but unfortunately I’m only one person and there are only so many hours in the day. Still, I try to do my best to make myself as available as I can to our amazing community, so click here for some free and inexpensive ways we can connect, as well as how you can sign up for one-on-one coaching. Love, Angie

I am angry that you make money helping people recover! You should do this work for free!

I’m sorry that my paid services are a problem for you. But I do a LOT for free, including the entire QueenBeeing website, packed with enough resources to allow you to go through recovery on your own, as well as several free support groups and literally all of the videos on my YouTube channel (more than 1500, not including live streams). In order to do all of this for the community, I do need to charge for my coaching services and certain courses and books. However, I often give courses away if someone needs one and can’t afford it. With all of that being said, if I did not need to pay my bills or feed my family, I would do all of it for free.

My mailing list is also free for you and the thousands of others on it, but it actually costs me money to maintain it, as does my website – several hundred dollars a month for each. And that’s just the beginning of the costs of doing business.

Why did you name your website "QueenBeeing" anyway? Isn't that kind of narcissistic?

Well, it all started with my own need to feel powerful. (Click here to read my story) This made-up word “QueenBeeing” felt powerful to me. There is a lot of symbolism in it for me (read about that here). In fact, you might say it’s a whole art form – or at least a lifestyle. You can read about the Art of QueenBeeing here and see if it feels like a fit for you. Once you’ve read my reasons, I don’t think you’ll feel like it’s so narcissistic after all. It’s more about reclaiming personal power than anything else.

Is there a way to find content for me personally, for just the stage of recovery I'm in right now?

Yes, I have a little quiz you can take to figure out where you are in the recovery process (click here to try it) and your results will direct you to some resources specifically for you. If you already know which recovery phase you are in, you can click here to find the resources you need. I’ll keep working on making this easier for you to find and always appreciate your ideas and thoughts on this stuff – hit reply if you have any thoughts on how I can make everything easier to find for you.

Need more tools and info?

Will you publish transcripts with your videos?

Yes, I’m working on that. My channel is sponsored by CPTSDFoundation.org for subtitles, and I can pull the transcripts off of that. However, it takes some time to format and edit them into something that is comfortable to read. So I’m going to start doing that as often as I can when I publish the videos over on QueenBeeing.com. This will include going back to already published video posts on the site and updating the copy to include the transcripts.

Can I email you my questions and expect to receive an answer?

If I’m being honest, I get hundreds of emails every day. There is just no way I can possibly answer all of the questions that come my way, especially when sometimes people send me lengthy stories that I need to read to understand what they are going through. I DO try to answer as many emails and messages as I can, but it’s really hard for me, and I don’t currently have anyone who can help me with certain types of questions. This leads me to three suggestions for you:

  • First, if you keep your question to one paragraph or less (say, no more than 350 words), I am far more likely to catch and respond to your question.
  • Second, if your question is about something like an appointment, a group, a class/course or where to find something, you can always email my team at [email protected]
  • One last tip: use your search bar in Google and/or YouTube and type your question along with my name (for example, you might type something like, “angie atkinson what is gaslighting?” to be directed to both my YouTube videos and/or my QueenBeeing blog posts on this topic. I have done a LOT of work in this field and a lot of people are surprised that this simple tip will often get them the answers they have been seeking. (It could save you time, anyway!)
