Holiday anxiety? Scientists say shopping increases happiness

Written by Angela Atkinson

Boy, do I have some great news for you.

So, it’s the holiday season. And  you’ve been shopping so hard you heard your wallet cry a little last time you pulled out your debit card.

Maybe you’re feeling a little guilty, worried that you went overboard or that you didn’t quite do enough.

Let me remind you that while gifts are (or can be) fun to buy and even more fun to give, they’re really not the biggest feature of the day.

In the end, what you’ll most remember this or any holiday season is the people you love, if you’re lucky enough to be able to spend time with them. So breathe and relax.

But, on a lighter note, a new study says that shopping can actually increase happiness, so why not go out and buy yourself a little something pretty?

Just kidding.

Sort of. 😉

Here’s a link to the study below, if you’d like to read it.

Happy holidays from QueenBeeing and MTMBody!
