“Creation is always happening. Every time an individual has a thought, or a prolonged, chronic way of thinking, they’re in the creation process. Something is going to manifest out of those thoughts” – Michael Beckwith.
The ability to have the lives we want is truly within our reach–in fact, it’s within our own minds. What we think about and focus on, we attract into our lives. So, if we’re constantly feeling like we’re not good enough, feeling sick or unhappy, or feeling like we don’t have the things and the people we want in our lives, we attract more of that negativity into our lives. But, if we focus on feeling grateful for the things we have and for the things we want, we begin to manifest and attract more of those things into our lives.
See, the thing is, whether we actively use it to our advantage or not, we are, at all times, using the law of attraction–whether we do this intentionally or not.
In that spirit, I thought I’d share the following video featuring a song by Travis McCoy (and featuring rapper Bruno Mars) which, in my opinion, embodies the concept of positive thinking and using the law of attraction to our advantage. McCoy sings about how much he wants to be a billionaire, and then he goes into detail, describing how his life will be and what he will do when he achieves that goal. He doesn’t vaguely describe his goals either–he goes into as much detail as the three or four minutes of the song will allow.
That’s the key–to visualize and really feel the feelings of having what you want. Imagine exactly what life will be like when you achieve your desires–how will you feel? What will you think? What will you do? Who will you be?
While McCoy’s lyrics may not ring true for everyone as the ultimate dream, we can all take a cue from him by watching how he focuses on those things he wants to attract into his life.
Remember, when you focus on what you truly desire, you’ll attract that into your life. But when you focus on all of the things that are wrong in your life–you can expect more of those things to manifest.
What do you think?
