Serena Gomez and the Sexy Swimsuit: You Had Me at ‘More to Love’

Serena Gomez and the Sexy Swimsuit: You Had Me at ‘More to Love’

I gotta be honest – some days celebs and the Hollywood machine scare the crap out of me.

It’s bad enough that the media tells us adult women we need to be stick figures with unnatural proportions if we expect to be considered sexy. But what the media’s shtick does to little girls and teens, especially those who aren’t getting good emotional support, can become positively horrific.

That’s why I was so thrilled to see music sensation Selena Gomez post a super-sexy pic of herself in a swimsuit, which she tweeted along with a quick affirmation of her awesomeness: “I love being me, y’all – there’s more to love.”

The girl is nowhere near fat, but she’s got a healthy, normal body. And y’all? That girl is hot.

Serena, if I didn’t already love you, this would’ve done it for me. Nice job. 🙂

Selena Gomez is shutting down all the haters by letting people know she loves her body the way it is.

The 22-year-old entertainer posted a photo of herself in a sexy swimsuit on Thursday (April 16) during her Mexico vacation.

“I love being happy with me yall,” Selena captioned the photo on Instagram. In hashtag format she added, “there’s more to love.”

Selena was spotted on the beach earlier in the week showing off her amazing curves in a teeny pink bikini. Go see the photos now if you haven’t check them out yet!

Is It Okay to Be Sexy? An Intellectual Perspective (Video)

So this video is very untimely (it was made for Halloween), but outside of a couple of mentions, this is an intelligent and incredibly well-thought-out view on whether or not it’s okay to be sexy.

In the end, our opinions are pretty similar – whatever turns you on. But ultimately, the question isn’t whether it’s okay to BE sexy, but whether the world (aka society) is ready for your brand of sexy.

Take a look at the video and head over to our Facebook page to let me know what you think.
